About the Event
The Pravarthana Outreach Program is an initiative by IEEE SIGHT and the IEEE Student Branch of BITM, Ballari, dedicated to inspiring young learners to explore the exciting world of science and technology. On the occasion of Children’s Day (November 14th), our volunteers and student members will visit Government School, Allipur, to conduct an interactive awareness session that introduces students to technological innovations shaping today’s world.
Through engaging demonstrations, discussions, and storytelling, the session aims to broaden students’ horizons — helping them understand how technology connects people globally, drives progress, and opens up opportunities for the future.
Key Highlights

Interactive Talk: “How Technology is Changing the World Around Us”

Awareness Session: Simple explanations of emerging technologies (AI, Robotics, Space Tech, etc.)

Motivational Segment: Inspiring students to dream big and pursue STEM fields

Children’s Day Celebration: Fun learning activities & interactive quizzes

Distribution of Compass Boxes: A token of encouragement for all participating students
Objective

To spark curiosity about science and technology among rural students.

To bridge the awareness gap between urban and rural learning environments.

To encourage innovation and critical thinking at an early age.

To celebrate Children’s Day by empowering the next generation with knowledge.
Expected Outcome
Students will gain a basic understanding of how technology impacts daily life, develop curiosity toward learning new concepts, and feel motivated to pursue education and careers in science, technology, and engineering.
