IEEE ESPRIT SIGHT Group, Tunisia Section – 7th Edition of AeroKids Inspires Young Minds in Kalaat El Andalus

Marking a milestone in collaborative community engagement, the 7th Edition of AeroKids Inspires Young Minds was co‑organized by IEEE SIGHT ESPRIT SBG, IEEE AESS ESPRIT SBC, and IEEE WIE ESPRIT SBAG. The groups were also honored to join forces with two local partners, Castra‑Events and the Youth Center of Kalaat El Andalus, whose support played a key role in bringing the initiative to life.

Held on 19 October 2025 at the Youth Center in Kalaat El Andalus, the event welcomed elementary school students aged 9 to 11 for a day of discovery and hands‑on learning. Volunteers designed a vibrant lineup of workshops that introduced participants to new fields through interactive, engaging activities. The program covered a wide spectrum of topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Astronomy & Aeronautics, Robotics, and HTML & CSS.

The organizers also contributed to the local radio show “Andalucia Talk”, made possible through the Youth Center, where they shared insights about IEEE, SIGHT, our Aerokids initiative, and upcoming community projects.

Throughout the day, students explored these domains through educational games, captivating presentations, and practical activities. Their enthusiasm filled the room as they tackled complex ideas in a fun and accessible way. Each workshop concluded with a certificate ceremony, celebrating their curiosity and participation.
