Enugu State University of Science & Technology (ESUT) SIGHT Group- Powering Off-Grid Communities

The Enugu State University of Science & Technology (ESUT) SIGHT Group, along with a team of technical experts, successfully brought solar street lights and mobile charging stations to off-grid communities in Nigeria. This project focused on boosting sustainable energy access, thereby enhancing safety and connectivity for local residents. Throughout the project, team members immersed themselves in the rural settings, gaining vital experience in technical installation, maintenance, and community engagement. These activities offered practical knowledge of renewable energy solutions and nurtured synergies between engineers and community members, paving the way for a brighter and more connected future.
