Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Student Branch SIGHT Group- ECLIPSE 3.0

In February, the Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Student Branch SIGHT Group proudly organized the ECLIPSE 3.0 SIGHT Camp in Mundiyeruma, a rural village on the outskirts of Idukki district. The camp brought together 33 dedicated volunteers who conducted surveys across approximately 50 households. Our main goal was to gain a deeper understanding of the significant challenges faced by the local community. Through our discussions, it became evident that the primary concern for the residents, most of whom are farmers, is the frequent destruction of their crops by wild boars. The valuable insights gathered from this survey will lay the groundwork for creating technological solutions to tackle this pressing issue.
